Beyond the 24-hour reply guarantee, every initial consultation is free of charge and carries no obligation — we’d rather help a student decide we’re not the right fit than push a service that doesn’t match their goals. For students preparing for the FBLA National Leadership Conference, we hold priority slots from January through the conference dates. Outside program peak season (October–November state-prep window, March–April national-qual, May–June NLC prep), turnaround is typically same-business-day. We work primarily with Mandarin- and English-speaking families across mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Singapore.

01 Do I have to use WhatsApp? Can I email instead? +
WhatsApp is the only channel we monitor for new inquiries — by design, not by oversight.
Our coaching team operates from mainland China, where WhatsApp is the default professional messenger. Email queues from our side often get blocked or arrive in delivery limbo for U.S./international addresses. WhatsApp gives us reliable, real-time, two-way messaging plus voice notes and document sharing — which is what coaching actually needs.
If you genuinely can’t use WhatsApp, mention it in the first message you send us through any FBLA chapter contact, and we’ll discuss alternatives case by case.
02 How fast do you respond? +
Within 1 business day, every time. In practice, most first replies arrive within 2-6 hours during Beijing business hours (Mon-Fri, 9am-7pm CST).
Outside business hours and on Chinese public holidays you’ll get an automatic acknowledgement, then a live reply on the next working day. Urgent NLC-related questions (registration deadlines, travel emergencies during competition week) are escalated.
03 Is the consultation actually free? What’s the catch? +
The initial consultation is genuinely free, with no obligation to engage paid services afterward. We don’t charge for event recommendations, eligibility checks, NLC orientation calls, or general FBLA questions.
Paid coaching — 1-on-1 event rehearsal cycles, full registration-to-NLC packages, prep curriculum bundles — is offered separately and quoted only after the initial scoping conversation. Pricing is shared transparently in writing before you commit.
04 What if I’m a student under 18 — do my parents need to be on the chat? +
For coaching, registration, and any commitment involving fees or travel, a parent or guardian on the chat is required. For general FBLA questions, event browsing, and exploratory conversations, you’re welcome to message us directly first and loop in family later.
We always send a written program summary to parents before any service starts. This keeps everyone informed and aligned.
05 I’m not an FBLA student yet. Can I still reach out? +
Yes — many of our best conversations are with students before they join FBLA, when they’re still deciding among FBLA, DECA, BPA, or other business competitions. The eligibility map is genuinely complex, and a 20-minute conversation can save weeks of confusion.
Mention “exploring competitions” in your first WhatsApp message and we’ll send you our standard comparison framework, plus a quick read on which 2-3 events at your grade level tend to work best for your stated goals.

This site is an independent FBLA Business Competition guide maintained by Hanlin Education’s international competition team. It is not affiliated with FBLA-PBL, Inc.
Hanlin Education (翰林教育) provides coaching and registration support for 120+ international academic and business competitions, including FBLA, AMC, AIME, USACO, ISEF, DECA, and BPA. Our FBLA team has been actively coaching students for multiple program cycles — through curriculum updates, eligibility changes, and the 2024 China-track policy transition.
